Pour-over is an alternative method of brewing coffee that utilises a special conical chamber.
The method is also sometimes referred to as «Hario», named after the Japanese company that produces the specialised utensils for the method.
The brewing process for this filter coffee involves passing hot water through ground powder in a special conical chamber with a paper filter and then into a cup.

Method
- Before brewing, preheat the coffee maker and mug by running hot water through them to ensure that the beverage stays at an optimal temperature.
- Place a paper filter in the conical chamber, dampening it with a little hot water beforehand.
- Place the ground coffee in the filter.
- Pour enough hot water over the coffee to wet the grounds and let them infuse for 30 seconds for a more complete extraction.
- Begin pouring water slowly into the conical chamber in a circular motion.
- Once all the water is poured over the coffee, wait until the coffee stops dripping into your mug. This process can take 2 to 4 minutes.
