Method
- Boil water in a separate container and allow it to cool to a temperature of 175-205°F (79–96 °C). This normally takes 30 seconds to 1 minute.
- Grind 17 to 20 grammes of coffee beans to a medium consistency.
- Assemble the AeroPress: insert the paper filter in the AeroPress lid, screw it onto the chamber, and place the construction over a cup or coffee pot.
- Add the ground coffee beans to the AeroPress.
- Fill the AeroPress with hot water up to the top of the chamber.
- Gently stir the coffee grounds to ensure that they are evenly soaked.
- Allow the coffee to infuse for 1-2 minutes, depending on your taste preference.
- Insert the plunger into the AeroPress and press down gently, pushing the coffee through the filter into the cup.
