Extract 2-3 seeds from the vanilla pod.

Place the ground coffee, sugar, and vanilla in a cezve or coffee pot.

Pour in hot water.

Heat on low until the mixture comes to a boil.

Remove from heat and pour into a serving cup.
Tip! If you want to make Cuban-style vanilla coffee, keep the ingredients the same but modify the method slightly: first, brew the vanilla pod or vanilla extract and let the liquid steep, then use this water to brew the coffee.
