Brew the espresso or coffee in any preferred way. Allow it to cool.

Whisk or mix the cream until it reaches a creamy consistency.

Whisk the egg yolk in a separate container.

Combine sugar and water in a saucepan. Place it over the heat, bring it to a boil, and cook until it thickens.

Pour the hot sugar syrup into the egg yolk mixture while continuing to beat.

Pour the cooled coffee and cream into the sugar-egg mixture. Mix everything well once more and refrigerate.

After 30 minutes, remove from the refrigerator and whisk again.
